This is their first music since 2007, that was 4 years ago! and now the boys from Perth are back with one hell of a song and the long awaited new album “Rain On The Humming Wire” is due out on the 29th of July. This song has everything I love about the panics taken to the next level. If the rest of the album is of the same quality as this first song then this will be one of the biggest records of the year. “Don’t fight it”  The first single from “Cruel Guards” entered the top 10 of  Triple J’s Hottest 100 for that year and I can see “Majesty” doing similar things this year. This track is Grand, it is modest yet astounding, it does everything just right. It Picks you up in the chorus and sets you back down gently for the verses. The drums, similar to Timpani (the large kettel drums used in orchestras) are a great addition, they add depth to the song and help give it that illustrious and imposing character.

It was definitely worth the wait for this one, “Majesty” is truly Majestic.
